I'm not using any Compatibility settings with FO-NV. Vac.dll (00000001 NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash 07050000) reported as incompatible during query … It allows New Vegas to consume more memory and thus makes it more stable.
plugin C:\GOG Games\Fallout New Vegas\Data\NVSE\Plugins FNV needs a lot of tweaking, simply installing an anti crash mod won't suffice. To install: Use Nexus Mod Manager or FOMM. I do have two mods installed via Nexus Mod Manager: Fallout New Vegas Anti Crash, and the one that adds more fast travel points, most notably the Vegas Strip area. The game won't launch on Win10 with this. For Skyrim the list of specific exceptions that are handled is very small, but those exceptions are some of the more common errors that Skyrim throws. It has taken much work to fiddle with load order and compatible mods to make my installation of NV stable.
